How can we help, bestie? 🤍
Search the FAQ below, or email support@kaironosapps.com. Please include your device model and OS version.
Getting startedDo I need an account?
No. Local workouts, subscribing, and Restore Purchases all work
without one. If you are 16 or older, you can separately opt in to
a Firebase cloud account so your streak, minutes, and workout
progress can be restored across devices.
Getting startedHow many exercises are there?
45 moves across 7 goals — glutes and legs, core and abs,
shoulders and posture, cardio, yoga, Pilates, and floor mat
Pilates — plus eight curated collections: Wall Pilates Challenge,
Pilates Princess, Small Waist + Big Glutes, Lazy-Girl Pilates,
Toned Arms, Core & Abs Starter, Full-Body Basics, and Indoor
Walking Challenge. Every move has one static form guide with
numbered steps and a camera hint.
Getting startedWhich devices are supported?
PilatesScroll is a native app for recent iPhones (iOS 17+) and
Android phones (Android 15+). Exact requirements appear on the
store listing at launch.
CameraWhy does the app need my camera?
The camera is used to detect your movements and count reps. All of
this happens on your device — camera frames are never recorded,
uploaded, or shared. You can revoke camera access in your device
settings at any time.
CameraRep counting isn’t detecting me
Make sure you’re in frame with good lighting and follow the
camera hint on the move’s guide — most moves face the camera,
while floor and wall moves want the phone propped side-on. In a
small room the detector works from a partial view as long as it
can see enough of you moving. There’s a gentle +1 fallback so a
missed rep won’t stall you.
App blockingHow does app blocking work?
On iOS, blocking uses Apple Screen Time (you’ll be asked to allow
it). On Android, it uses Usage Access plus a screen overlay. You
choose which apps to block. They stay blocked while your banked
balance is empty, open once you’ve earned time, and lock again
when the balance reaches zero.
App blockingHow does banked time get used up?
There is one balance: everything you’ve earned minus everything
you’ve used. It counts down only while one of the apps you chose
to block is actually open — not while you’re in PilatesScroll and
not while your phone is idle. Nothing has to be allocated by hand,
and there is no separate allowance to manage.
App blockingBlocking isn’t working on my iPhone
Screen Time blocking requires granting the App permission when
prompted. If you declined, enable it in Settings → Screen Time. On
a small number of enterprise/managed devices, Screen Time may be
restricted.
SubscriptionsWhat’s free and what’s Premium?
Onboarding, the move library with its static form guides, à la
carte moves, themes, basic stats, and Restore Purchases are free.
Applying app blocking, claiming earned scroll time, personalized
weekly plans, Free Style, built-in hype music, and Pilates Alarm
are Premium. Prices, billing periods, and any introductory or
promotional offer come from the App Store or Google Play and are
shown in the app before you subscribe; the store decides
eligibility.
SubscriptionsDo I have to sign in to subscribe?
No. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional and only powers
cloud backup. You can subscribe and use Restore Purchases without
a PilatesScroll account, using the App Store or Google Play
account that made the purchase.
SubscriptionsHow do I cancel?
Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account
settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current
billing period.
Restore purchasesI paid but Premium isn’t active
Use “Restore Purchases” in the app’s settings, signed in with the
same App Store/Google account you purchased with. If it still
doesn’t restore, email support with your store and approximate
purchase date.
Wallet & streaksWhere did my banked minutes go?
Banked time counts down only while you’re actually using one of
the apps you chose to block. Your streak never resets from using
banked time. Data is stored locally by default; if you explicitly
enabled cloud backup, supported workout progress can be restored
after a reinstall or on another device.
Pilates AlarmHow does the alarm work?
Pilates Alarm is an optional Premium feature. Pick a time, the
days, a gentle standing move, and a 3, 5, 10, or 15-rep target.
When it fires, the notification says how many reps stop it and
opens a locked workout for that move. Finishing the set stops the
alarm and banks the reward, and one five-minute snooze is
available. After 3 completed reps a confirmed emergency stop ends
the alarm and still banks what you did. It is a convenience alarm,
not a medical or emergency alarm — delivery depends on your
device’s notification and power-saving settings.
WorkoutsCan I change my weekly plan?
Yes. Premium members can use Regenerate my plan in Stats or
the Move Library to pick up to three goals and a Gentle / Just
right / Spicy volume, preview the whole seven-day result, and
cycle through different layouts. Your plan settings stay on the
device. Anyone can ignore the plan and pick moves à la carte, and
Premium Free Style just counts meaningful movement when you
don’t want to follow a named move.
WorkoutsCan I turn off the voice or use my own music?
The voice coach announces the starting and next move and reads a
move’s steps the first time you meet it; you can mute it from
inside any workout. For audio you can choose off, the Premium
built-in hype track, your own playlist from an installed music app
(it keeps playing over the workout), or just open your music app.
WidgetThe home-screen widget isn’t updating
Open the app once after installing so the widget can sync, then
re-add the widget if needed. Widgets refresh periodically per the
OS.
Data & privacyWhat can leave my device?
Camera frames and pose results never leave your device. Cloud
workout backup, Firebase Analytics, and Crashlytics are separate
optional choices. Anything you type into the in-app feedback form
is sent only when you submit it. Store, subscription, security,
compatibility, and Android pose-SDK services may process limited
technical data described in the
Privacy Policy.
Data & privacyWhat happens when I send feedback in the app?
Your message is sent with only the category you picked, where you
opened the form, your platform, app version and build, app
language, and a random anti-spam code the app made up for itself.
It becomes a ticket in a private issue tracker only Kaironos can
read. No account, email, workout, camera, or advertising
identifier is attached — which also means we can’t link a ticket
back to you, so please avoid typing personal details. See the
Privacy Policy for the full list.
Data & privacyHow do I delete my data?
Open Settings → Privacy & Data to export your data, change
optional cloud or telemetry choices, or delete an enabled cloud
account and synced copy. Uninstalling or clearing app storage
removes local data. See the
Data & account deletion
page for details.
AccessibilityCan I use it without the camera or blocking?
The core loop relies on camera-based rep counting and app
blocking, but you can adjust reward-per-rep, mute the voice coach,
and use the move library and its static guides. Motion-sensitive
animations follow your system Reduce Motion setting. If you hit an
accessibility barrier, please tell us so we can improve.
