Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 July 2026 · Applies to Kobble Cup on iOS and Android

Kobble Cup has no user accounts and never sells your data for money. Ads are personalised only if you consent, and you can change that choice at any time. The game may show banners, opt-in rewarded ads, and infrequent interstitial ads. Active competitive rounds and the rematch decision are never interrupted; a capped interstitial may appear only after a completed session ends.

1. Who we are

Kobble Cup is an original bubble-shooter game published by Kaironos LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app processes and your choices. For privacy questions, contact kaironosllc@gmail.com.

2. Summary at a glance

Do we…
Show ads? Yes: passive banners, opt-in rewarded ads, and capped interstitials. Never during an active board, PvP round, Tournament round, or rematch decision.
Require an account or your email? No.
Sell or rent your data? No.
Track you across other apps/websites? No.
Collect your name, phone, contacts, precise location, or photos? No.
Collect anything at all? Only a random anonymous player id, an optional nickname/country/team details, match scores, cloud-save data, and anonymous analytics/crash data — see below.

3. Data stored on your device

The following is stored locally and automatically backed up to our game server so it can be restored after reinstalling:

  • Game progression — levels completed, stars, XP, best scores, daily streak — plus your generated or chosen nickname and chosen country flag.
  • Cosmetic choices — mascot species, skins, and accessories.
  • Pearls, purchase grants, and a random anonymous player id.
  • App settings (and, in developer builds only, a chosen server URL).

These are stored using the operating system's local key–value store (UserDefaults on iOS, SharedPreferences on Android). The anonymous id is also kept in iOS Keychain or Android backup storage. App settings and the developer server URL are not included in the cloud profile backup.

4. Data sent to our game server

On each launch, the app uses the anonymous id to merge a minimal cloud backup of progression, statistics, cosmetics, currency, nickname, and country flag. If you play an online match, join the Cup Fever Tournament, or use custom teams, we also process:

  • An anonymous player id — a random value generated on your device. It is not your name, email, phone number, or any account identifier.
  • If you use custom teams, your chosen team name, curated team badge, membership, and captain role. Team names pass the same profanity filter.
  • Match results / scores used to compute the global Tournament standings, and, during a live match, board snapshots and attack counts relayed to your opponent(s).

5. Analytics & crash diagnostics

If enabled in a given build, we use PostHog to record anonymous product-interaction events (e.g. "a game started", "a level was completed") and crash reports, keyed only to the anonymous player id above. This helps us fix bugs and improve the game. It is never used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Advertising

Menu, Adventure, lobby, and completed-game surfaces may show ads through Google Mobile Ads. Where you consent, these may be personalized using your device’s advertising identifier; where you decline, or where consent is unavailable, they are non-personalized and contextual. Active boards — including Adventure, Practice Battle, Online Battle, and Tournament — plus onboarding and the 30-second rematch decision do not show ads. Optional rewarded ads appear only on deliberate reward surfaces; forced interstitials are frequency-capped and appear only after a session ends. We do not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission, so no IDFA is used and no cross-app tracking occurs on iOS. Where required, Google's consent form appears before an ad request and a persistent Privacy choices control is available in the Shop. Google may process IP-derived coarse location, app/device-bounded identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics, performance, and advertising data for delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.

6. In-app purchases

Kobble Cup offers optional purchases including the annual Ad-Free Year, cosmetic Pearl packs, the one-time Starter Pack, and monthly Kobble Club membership. Existing lifetime Remove Ads purchases remain restorable. These are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by the store — we never see or store your card, billing address, or store account. We use RevenueCat to validate the purchase receipt and remember your entitlement so you can restore it, keyed only to the anonymous player id above.

7. What we do not collect

We do not collect your email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone, or camera data. We never read Apple’s IDFA. On Android, Google may use the advertising ID (AAID) to personalise ads, and only if you consent. Google Mobile Ads may process the limited ad data described above. There are no user accounts and no free-text chat.

8. How we use data

  • Run gameplay and save your progress.
  • Back up and restore progress across reinstalls.
  • Power online matches and the seasonal Tournament standings.
  • Validate optional in-app purchases and restore entitlements.
  • Diagnose crashes and improve the game (anonymous analytics).

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the game and online features you request); and our legitimate interests in keeping the game secure, fixing crashes, and understanding aggregate, anonymous usage. Where required, we rely on consent for advertising storage or processing; Google's consent controls let you review or change that choice.

10. Sharing & service providers

  • Multiplayer: during an online match your board snapshots and attack counts are relayed through our server to your opponent(s). Your nickname, country, scores, and any team name/badge appear on public standings.
  • Processors: PostHog processes anonymous analytics/crash data and RevenueCat processes purchase-validation data on our behalf. Google Mobile Ads processes the limited data described above to deliver ads.
  • We do not sell personal data for money. Ad personalisation happens only with your consent and can be withdrawn at any time.

11. International transfers

Our processors may store and process data on servers located outside your country. Where required, such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses). Because the data is anonymous and minimal, transfer risk is low.

12. Data retention

Tournament and team standings persist for the current season and are archived at season end. Cloud profile backups persist until deletion is requested. Anonymous analytics are retained only as long as useful for product improvement.

13. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Because our records are keyed to a random Support ID rather than an account, include that ID when you contact us so we can locate your data. You will not be discriminated against for exercising any right.

14. Accessing & deleting your data

Before clearing app data or uninstalling, copy your Support ID (shown in the app). Use it to request deletion of the cloud profile, nickname, team membership/name, scores, analytics identity, and related anonymous records through our data deletion page or by emailing kaironosllc@gmail.com. After deletion is confirmed, you can clear app data or uninstall to remove the local copy. We will action verified requests within 30 days.

15. Security

All network traffic to our server uses encrypted connections (wss:// / HTTPS/TLS). Your cloud backup is addressed only by your random, unguessable Support ID and is never published.

16. Children's privacy

Kobble Cup does not knowingly collect personal information from children. User-provided public text is limited to a chosen nickname and optional team name; both are filtered for offensive terms before display. The app has no chat or social feed. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

17. Do Not Track & tracking

On iOS the app does not request App Tracking Transparency, so no IDFA is read and no cross-app tracking occurs. On Android, if you consent, Google may use your device’s advertising ID to personalise ads — which some laws treat as cross-context behavioural advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time via Privacy choices in the Shop, and you can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. We honour platform-level tracking choices.

18. Third-party services

We use the following processors, each governed by its own privacy policy: PostHog (anonymous analytics/crash) and RevenueCat (purchase validation), and Google Mobile Ads (advertising). App distribution and payments are handled by Apple and Google.

19. California (CCPA/CPRA) notice

We do not sell personal information for money. If you consent to personalised ads, the resulting disclosure to our advertising partner may qualify as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CPRA. You may opt out at any time: use Privacy choices in the Shop where it is shown, and on any device you can reset or delete the advertising ID in your system settings (Android Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS uses no advertising identifier here at all). California residents may exercise access and deletion rights via the data deletion page.

20. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, noted in the app or on this site.
