What Mochi Slow Café does
A timer that sits with you
A study timer or work timer. Focus Brews run up to 25 minutes a day on the free plan; Pro adds selectable 5- to 60-minute sessions. Mochi cooks while you concentrate, and a soft soundtrack keeps you company even screen-locked.
Deep Brew app blocking
Shield the apps you choose using iOS Screen Time or Android's user-granted focus controls. It is a distraction blocker you switch on for a single session: the feed you reach for simply is not there until the timer ends. Never a permanent lock on your phone.
Habits, tracked kindly
A focus habit tracker, not a chore list. It counts your sessions and lifetime focused minutes and raises your matcha rank, with no shame and no streak-guilt. ADHD-friendly by design: it supports everyday wellbeing and does not diagnose or treat anything.
A café that grows
Mochi craves a different dish each day; cook it while you focus. Sessions earn coins for décor, regional shop finds, and outfits, so the timer always has a reason to start.
Japan & Italy
Focused minutes unlock the passport. The Italy route includes 20 playable destinations alongside Japan, with more countries planned. Italy's store-hosted venue art downloads on demand.
Private by default
No account required, no ads, and no cross-app tracking. Signed-out progress is not sent to Kaironos cloud services; optional Firebase sign-in and cloud save are the supported account-based cross-device path. See our Privacy Policy.

Common questions
Nine things people ask before they download it.
Focusing and blocking
Is Mochi Slow Café a Pomodoro timer?
It works like one. The free plan provides up to 25 focus minutes each day, including a classic Pomodoro-style session. Pro unlocks selectable 5-, 10-, 15-, 25-, 45-, and 60-minute Focus Brews for longer study and work blocks. Mochi Cat cooks while the timer runs, and you collect the reward when it ends.
Can it block distracting apps?
Yes. Deep Brew is an optional app blocker you switch on for a single session. On iPhone it uses Apple Screen Time, and on Android it uses the Usage Access and display-over-apps permissions you grant yourself. You choose which apps to restrict, the selection and enforcement stay on your device, and the block lifts when the session ends.
Can it help me stop doomscrolling?
It can interrupt the loop, which is not the same as promising to fix it. Put the feeds you lose time in — short video, social, news — into Deep Brew, then start a Focus Brew. For the length of that session those apps are shielded, so the reflex to open one meets a quiet screen and a cooking cat instead of an endless feed. Outside a session nothing is blocked, and whether the brainrot loop actually breaks is up to you, not the app.
Habits, plans, and pricing
What kind of habits does it track?
Focus habits. It records your focus sessions and lifetime focused minutes, raises your matcha rank, and keeps a gentle daily routine going. It is a focus-habit tracker rather than a general checklist app, so there is no list of unrelated daily chores to tick off.
Is Mochi Slow Café free?
It is free to download on iPhone and Android, and the free plan provides up to 25 focus minutes each day. Optional Mochi Slow Café Pro unlocks selectable 5- to 60-minute sessions, removes the daily cap, opens travel beyond the home teahouse, and adds exclusive décor. Eligible new subscribers can start with a seven-day free trial; Apple or Google decides eligibility and shows the exact price and renewal terms before you confirm.
Is it ADHD-friendly?
It is designed to be. Sessions start in a couple of taps, progress stays visible, and nothing is taken away when you miss a day. Mochi Slow Café is a general wellbeing and productivity app, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition.
Accounts, devices, and downloads
Do I need an account?
No. Your café starts on your device with no account required. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional and exists so cloud save can carry selected progress to another device.
Which devices does it run on?
It is available now on iPhone and on Android phones. Both store listings are published by Kaironos LLC.
Where can I download Mochi Slow Café?
Mochi Slow Café is available on the Apple App Store as Mochi Slow Cafe: Focus Lock and on Google Play. Both listings are linked from this page.
