Account & Data Deletion

No account is required to play Mochi Slow Café. If you chose “Save your café” with Apple or Google, you can permanently delete that optional account, its cloud save, and this device’s game data directly inside the app. Deleting an account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription and does not restore introductory-trial eligibility.

1Your game data (on your device)

Use Settings → Erase local data to clear this device’s rank, coins, décor, placements, recipes, care state, and settings. Uninstalling the app also removes its active local data. Android automatic OS backup and device transfer are disabled. On iOS, these actions may not erase an existing Apple-managed device or iCloud backup; manage that backup through your Apple settings. If you enabled cloud save, erasing only the local copy does not delete the optional Firebase account.

2Delete an optional account & cloud save

A signed-in cloud account contains a Firebase user ID, the email address supplied by Apple or Google when available, and a limited game-progress snapshot.

1. Open Settings in Mochi Slow Café.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Review the permanent-deletion warning and confirm.
4. Apple accounts always require one Apple confirmation so the app can revoke Apple’s authorization before deletion. Google accounts use the current Firebase session when it is recent enough and ask for Google confirmation only when Firebase requires a recent login. If you are signed out, choose Apple or Google on iOS, or Google on Android, to authenticate solely for deletion; the app does not merge this device’s café into the cloud.
5. After authentication succeeds, the app deletes the Firebase account, recursively removes the account’s users/{UID} cloud-save tree, clears this device, and restarts onboarding.

This action cannot be undone. If you cannot access the app or the linked sign-in provider, email privacy@kaironosapps.com with the subject “Account and cloud data deletion.” After verification, we aim to respond within 30 days, subject to provider capabilities, legal exceptions, and any extension permitted by applicable law.

3Subscriptions & purchase records

If you subscribed to Mochi Slow Café Pro, your purchase is handled by Apple or Google and managed for us by RevenueCat using an app-specific identifier. Deleting the Mochi account signs the app out of that RevenueCat profile, but it does not cancel billing, erase store transaction history, or make the store account eligible for another introductory trial. To stop billing, cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account. To request deletion of provider records where legally available, use the request method below.

4Analytics & diagnostics data

If you explicitly opted in, product events may be recorded by PostHog against a random app identifier, and crash reports or routine reliability logs may be processed by Sentry where that service is enabled for the platform. These are independent choices, each off until consent and each withdrawable in Settings → Privacy choices. Turning a choice off stops future collection but does not automatically erase data already retained by a provider. To request deletion of existing data associated with your account or device, use the request method below.

5Other deletion or access requests

In-app deletion is the fastest path for the optional Mochi account and cloud save. For purchase-profile, analytics, diagnostics, access, or export requests—or if in-app deletion is unavailable—email privacy@kaironosapps.com with the subject “Data deletion request.” Tell us which records you want reviewed. After verification, we aim to respond within 30 days, subject to provider capabilities, applicable retention periods, legal exceptions, and any extension permitted by applicable law. Send the request from the linked Apple/Google account email when possible so we can locate the right record without collecting extra information.

6Summary

• Delete on-device data: Settings → Erase local data, or uninstall the app.
• Delete an iOS platform backup: use the backup controls in your Apple device or iCloud settings.
• Delete an optional cloud account: use Settings → Delete account and confirm. Apple requires one authorization confirmation; Google asks only when Firebase requires a recent login. If signed out, choose the provider for the account you want to delete.
• Sign out without deleting: use Settings → Sign out; your local café remains on this device.
• Stop billing: cancel in App Store / Google Play settings.
• Delete purchase, analytics, or diagnostics records: email privacy@kaironosapps.com.
• Access or export account data: email privacy@kaironosapps.com.
