These Terms govern your use of the Mochi Slow Café app (“the app”), made by Kaironos LLC (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

1The service

Mochi Slow Café is a cozy focus-timer game and digital-wellbeing companion. It helps you run focus sessions, optionally block distracting apps (Deep Brew), and grow a decorative café. Features may change over time.

2Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the app. If you are a minor, use the app only with a parent or guardian’s permission.

3Subscriptions & billing

• The app offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, Mochi Slow Café Pro, which unlocks extra features (e.g., unlimited-length focus sessions and exclusive décor). A free trial may be offered.
• Auto-renewal: a subscription automatically renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Managing & cancelling: manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Free trial: if you start a free trial and don’t cancel before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Payments & refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms; we do not process payments and generally cannot issue refunds directly.

The core app remains usable without a subscription (subject to a free daily focus allowance); Pro enhances it and never gates your progress, focus rank, or the places you unlock by focusing.

4Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial enjoyment, subject to these Terms and the app store’s terms.

5Acceptable use

Don’t reverse-engineer, decompile, tamper with, or attempt to cheat or circumvent the app’s currency, subscription, or Screen Time features; don’t use the app unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights.

6Intellectual property

The app, including Mochi the cat, artwork, characters, music, and text, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms don’t transfer any ownership to you.

7Third-party services

The app uses Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and PostHog (see the Privacy Policy). Your use of those services is also subject to their terms.

8Not medical or health advice

Mochi Slow Café is a wellbeing and productivity app for general audiences. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, including ADHD or any attention, mental-health, or sleep disorder. It is not a substitute for professional advice. If you have health concerns, consult a qualified professional.

9Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Deep Brew will block every distraction in every situation.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Where liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

11Changes & termination

We may update the app or these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. We may suspend or discontinue features. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.

12Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your place of residence to the extent required by local consumer-protection law; otherwise by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
